Joe Montana

I was digging through about half a dozen boxes of cards tonight and I came across a Montana second year card. All the corners are razor sharp, there are no creases, no blemishes; in fact, it looks like it was just pulled out of a pack yesterday.

I've had these cards in a storage building for years, not really knowing what I had. I had pulled these boxes out to look for some late '60s to early '70s baseball cards and instead found my nearly complete set of 1982 Topps football.

Then...I found my box of '81 football cards. I checked the box but there was no Montana rookie to be found.

So, for now, I'll have to be content with this one.
